ISLAND STREET (The journey of our mission works)

"The work of the church is to make disciples who observe and obey all that Christ commands and equip them for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12). A Christian missionary is a person who dedicates his or her life to fulfilling the Great Commission: to preach the Gospel, baptizing and making disciples (Matthew 28:19-20)."

One Saturday afternoon me and my husband decided to go for a walk to get some fresh air and also to look for someone who could be able to sell some BBQ as part of our livelihood program to help the women around neighborhood to have an extra income to support their family. We will finance everything and all they need to do is to sell the foods in commission basis. We went there for one reason but when we arrived there, there was another purpose as we reach Kristine's house, the lady we met in one of our feeding program, her daughter is underweight that time that's why she came over at the feeding program. She was quite surprise on our visit, we actually don't know exactly her place but the good thing here in the province is you just mentioned their family name and they will give you the direction. When we were there we discussed a lot of things and also went to some houses nearby to look for the person who are willing to have an extra income, but unfortunately we found none even though the people we approached in that small village is already in dire need, it seems like they don't want to work harder to earn a little bit extra for their food, that's what they really called "poverty mentality" just to live by everyday is enough for them. Change seems hard for them to do, they are stuck in their life. That's when we realize this people are in need. They are spiritually dead. "Genesis 2:17 (AMP) but [only] from the tree of the knowledge (recognition) of good and evil you shall not eat, otherwise on the day that you eat from it, you shall most certainly [a]die [because of your disobedience].” So we went back to Kristine's house again and we asked her if we can do some prayer meeting in her place (just a spot decision we made, we didn't really plan that at all when we first left our home) but the holy spirit led us to see the needs in that place. As soon as we told that to her she was excited she says, she really misses attending bible study, she normally attend the bible study when she was still not married way back to their hometown. So to cut the story short, we scheduled quickly and set every Saturday 4pm-5pm afternoon as our prayer meeting/bible study.

It's been past a month since we started that prayer meeting over that area. We have heard so much testimonies. We were able to save souls at least 50 and more in that area called "Island Street" (they were in a middle of rice fields it's like a hidden small village).

Kristine Pasion (Daughter with asthma):

My daughter is 5 years old, she was always having a hard time breathing at night, then i came to approach sis ching to ask for a prayer request but she taught me how to do the healing myself and fight for my daughter. She ask me to memorize the prayer and declare the healing in Yahushua name and i did it over and over until my daughter felt better. When Apostle Will came and prayed for my daughter the next meeting he did prayed again, and since then my daughter is not having a hard time breathing at night. Amen and Praise be to God.

Nelia & Gerry Cadiente: A former trainee Pastor who got out of focus and left her spiritual calling:

I'm Nelia Cadiente, i was a former Pastor, still under trainee as i didn't finish my bible school. I lost focus on God, until now i've never been serving God since i got married and now i have 12 kids and 6 grand kids. I have a drunk husband who work as a farmer's helper. He drink everyday and we barely have some foods to eat. I thought this is really my punishment for turning my back on Him. One day Apostle Will and sis ching came over in our area, i got curious and went to attend without knowing what will happen to me and my husband. I asked them what church are they? are they born again? and they answered they are independent missionaries and they don't have any church, they're teaching the people only to have a connection back to God. Apostle Will then asked if he can pray for me. As soon as he prayed for me, the holy spirit came unto me and i was slain down on the dirt area (the place we do prayer meeting is an open dirt area). At that moment something really left me, i repent to God for turning my back on Him, something heavy really left on me that day. I was weeping and crying hard. When i got back up i asked my other son to call their father so he will be prayed over as well. My husband Gerry came over and as usual he's drunk. Pastor Will told him to sit so we can pray over Gerry. All of the people there and the kids lay hands on him and we started praying over, my husband quickly felt something in his stomach like his about to throw up, he got up and keep fighting that alcohol spirit and Apostle Will keep fighting for that spirit to come out of my husband, he's choking and vomiting nothing but saliva. It went through for about 5-15 minutes to deliver him and finally he felt better. To cut the story short, 2 weeks after he was being prayed over, he is not drinking anymore and he also do some household chores now like cooking and washing dishes. Which he don't normally do as he is busy drinking alcohol before. For us this is already a miracle. Praise God forever and ever.

Mr. Pasion: A former evangelist

My name is Mr. Passion, i used to be an evangelist and studied bible way back when i was still young. But i didn't become a full time evangelist as something happen to me. (He didn't share much on this part but we learned from his daughter in law that he almost lost his mind learning and reading the word of God, going back to Mr. Pasion testimony) Long ago somebody prophesied to me that one day, a missionaries from the west will be coming over in our place and in my house. Now it came to pass. That's when Apostle Will and sis Ching came over and i told them about this prophecy long time ago. Since the place their conducting a meeting is an open area, I offered them that as soon as my garage area beside my house has a roof, they can use that place so even though it will rain or shine the work of God can still continue.

Maryrose Cadiente: With a 2 year old son suffering from colds and flue, can't breath properly

Hi I'm Mary, i have 3 small kids, 3 & 5yr old girls and the youngest is my ezekiel, a 2 yr old boy. My husband is a helper in construction. I have problem with him also as he always drink alcohol. We always fight cause we barely have food to eat. I accept laundry from other people and wash clothes by hand so i can have extra money. One day Kristine invited us to attend the prayer meeting. I decided to go. We attend the prayer meeting that day but i'm kind of hesitant at first cause my son is sick. During the prayer meeting my son can't really breath properly, he's agitated and keep crying. I'm already shy cause we are causing some distractions, but Apostle Will came and asking for prayer request so i immediately told them about my son, so he prayed for us and after the prayer meeting i was whispering to sis ching (feeling shy to share it over, but they keep encouraging us to share our testimonies) that my son is feeling better already and not having trouble on breathing anymore. Praise be to God.
